Anne Perkins is an avid gardener and raises a variety of flowers and vegetables for local restaurants. The ornamental gardens of Versailles were developed beginning in 1661 and the Potager du roi (Kitchen Garden of the King) was created between 1678 and 1683. French gardens were divided specifically into the Potager and Verger. Anne will enlighten the group on the history of the garden and how to plant one.
