MMW+C announces Michael Mansfield as President

Michael Mansfield has been named as the next President of the Maine Media Workshops and College (MMW+C) beginning in January 2020. Mansfield succeeds the current President, Meg Weston, who has led MMW+C for the last eight years and announced her retirement last February. She will be stepping down in January 2020. Meals of Hope Meal Packing Event, October 26

West Bay Rotary is partnering with the non-profit organization Meals of Hope from Naples, Florida to host a meal packing event and they are looking for volunteers. They will pack up to 25,000 nutritious and much needed quality meals for families in need in the Midcoast area. These will be distributed to local food pantries that have expressed an interest in receiving the meals. West Bay Rotary is also contacting additional local organizations that may be interested in receiving meals. More...

Camden Conference hires Erin Towns as first Education Outreach Liason

The Camden Conference is pleased to announce the hiring of Erin Towns as its Outreach Liaison to Maine high schools. Erin is a high school educator at Edward Little High School in Auburn with over 15 years of experience teaching geography, world history and contemporary global issues. She became interested in making education relevant for students and began a quest to bring the world directly into her classroom and has been involved with Camden Conference in the Classroom (CCC) program since its inception in 2015.
