Quebecois percussionist Kattam invites Maine families to experience Africa, the Middle East and India through rhythm, song and dance with a live performance of Kattam and His Tam-Tams at the Strand Theatre on Friday, March 22 at 6:30pm. (Tam-Tams are a French-Canadian term for hand drums such as bongos.) The show opens the Strand Family Series, and features a Pay-What-You-Can sliding scale of $20/$10/$5/$0 for admission.
