Bach For Breakfast Part 2

Thursday, August 19 –

Event Time: 10:00-11:00

Camden Public Library Amphitheatre
55 Main St., Camden

Part 2 of our exploration of J.S. BACH– HIS INFLUENCES AND INHERITORS led by performer and scholar of historical music and performance practice, John McKean. Featuring musicians performing at the festival, this series of conversation concerts offers an opportunity to understand BACH in context and appreciate his impact through performances of several of his works for keyboard, strings, voices and mixed ensembles. John McKean holds an M.Phil. and a Ph.D. in historical musicology from the University of Cambridge (U.K). His influential doctoral dissertation examined the development of keyboard technique during the German Baroque. Zoot coffee and muffins are available before the concert.
