Being in the outdoors in Maine has changed over the years where we now have to pay attention to animals and plants that can cause health issues. The best defense is education. Join state entomologist, Tom Schmeelk, to learn about the browntail moth on Wednesday, February 19, 6:30 p.m. at Maine Coastal Islands National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center, 9 Water St. Rockland. Schmeelk will give an overview of the browntail moth biology, history in Maine and updates on current browntail moth range and areas at risk. Bring your questions.
