Camden on Canvas: Plein-air Art Event

Watch Plein-air artists creating new works in open air for all to see. Up to twenty artists will be scattered throughout Camden and the surrounding area. These wet paintings will be sold late Sunday afternoon at a Reception & Live Auction to benefit the Camden Public Library’s Campaign for the Future. While you are in the area, follow the signs to the Library Book Sale! Look for the Camden on Canvas information booth in Harbor Park across from the Camden Public Library Centennial Wing on Atlantic Avenue. Learn about the participating artists and grab a map to help you on your hunt to see these magnificent artists at work. Event Time: Plein-air Painting Information Tent Friday and Saturday 9:00 - 5:00 Sunday 9:00 to 12:00 (artists’ painting times & location will vary) Wet Paint Exhibit Open to the Public Sunday 1:00 to 3:00 Ticketed Reception & Auction Sunday 4:00-6:00 More information about Camden on Canvas will be available on the Library’s website, librarycamden.org, in mid-May.
