Houseplants: Not the Usual Suspects

Tuesday, January 29 –

Event Time: 10:00am

Camden Public Library
55 Main St., Camden

Gardener Dennis Milliken will speak about how to care for and treat houseplants for pests. Many people take their plants indoors in winter. However, even the easiest of plants can have issues in the winter. Milliken will teach us about proper winter care, including getting enough sunlight during the darkest months, keeping humidity in check, and how to identify and treat for the tiniest pests that can harm your indoor plants. A life-long gardener, Milliken has worked in the horticulture industry for over 40 years, most recently at the Green Thumb in Rockport, and is currently a member of the board of trustees at Merryspring.
