Ingraham Diaries by Eleanor and Peter Richardson

Tuesday, June 22 –

Event Time: 7pm

Watts Hall
Main Street, Thomaston

Eleanor and Peter Richardson live in a house built by Peter's great-grandfather in 1882 which was on 200 acres of farmland cleared by Peter's 4th great-grandfather in 1781 in Rockland. In 1795 the diaries began with extensive information on farming, fishing, industry, business, shipbuilding, sailing, religion, military, domestic, and genealogy. The co-authors kept the narrative throughout the book that increased during the 80 years that was recorded. The Diaries are becoming a regional resource for historical and genealogy research. Refreshments and social time at 7pm with the talk at 7:30pm. This event is free but donations are appreciated.
