START your art project TODAY – Juried Nature Art Show – Evoking the Magic of Maine’s Coast & Islands – May 2021 – Themes of abundance, beauty & change. Support FOMCI and have your art, if selected, hang in the Art Gallery at our Visitor Center in Rockland during the month of May. For all ages, most media accepted. Our visitor center features a wall-size map of the entire coast of Maine and its islands We have a short film highlighting coastal islands and their value to wildlife, and the work of Maine Coastal Islands National Wildlife Refuge. There are exhibits, a gift store, an art gallery and an outdoor seabird island replica. We can recommend local hikes and puffin viewing trips. Admission is free.
