North Atlantic Blues Festival - to be held virtually July 11-12

Saturday, July 11 – Sunday, July 12, 2020

Event Time: 11am-6pm

Rockland Harbor Park

KISS-FM is preparing to bring you the first ever Virtual North Atlantic Blues Festival on July 11th and 12th - with all of the artists that were scheduled to play this summer at Rockland Harbor Park! Let's have a worldwide listening PARTY!!!

Over the past week, Blue Festival founder and organizer, Paul Benjamin has been interviewing all of the artists that were slated to appear on stage this year. So in addition to hearing music from each each, you will hear their conversations with Paul, during the radio broadcast.

Benjamin said, "There are a few reasons why we decided to have the virtual Blues Festival. First of all, KISS-FM reached out to me, and we decided to do this for the fans, the artists and the Festival. Most important to me is to shine a light on each of these artists who are not working. I hope the fans will go to their websites and purchase CDs, t-shirts, and other merchandise. Better yet, make a donation in their virtual tip jar or PayPal account. I know a lot of you are hurting as well, but if you are able to help these artists and their families, it will make a difference."

Benjamin asks blues fans to share the link with friends to create a virtual party, North Atlantic Blues style. You can tune in on the radio, or stream the event online at kissfm.net. The radio broadcast will start at 10:00 AM on both Saturday, July 11 and Sunday, July 12, with a preview of the day and some music from past years of the festival. The 2020 bands' music will kick off at 11:00 AM each day in the order they were to have appeared on the Festival stage.
