The Friends of Maine Coastal Islands National Wildlife Refuge welcome local author and birder Don Reimer to a Zoom presentation on Wednesday, December 2, 6:30 p.m. Don will share photos and discuss his new book Seen Anything Good? that spans six decades of bird observations in mid-coastal Maine. Following the presentation, Don will answer questions from audience members about the book, and all matters of birds in general. Register at: https://bit.ly/seenanythinggood. Please stop by our visitor center. We have a short film highlighting the offshore islands and their value to wildlife and introducing the Maine Coastal Islands National Wildlife Refuge. There are also exhibits, a gift store, an art gallery and an outdoor seabird island. We can recommend local hikes and puffin viewing trips. Admission is free.
