Event Time: 5:00pm

Maine's own radio variety show! June is busting out all over, and so is THE STRAND ON THE AIR! Liz McLeod leads the Strand Family Players down the shore to frisk and and caper in the sunshine, Brittany Parker will dish up some appropriate summer melodies, Professor Dan Bookham will sing an ode to that season that’s oh-too-short, and we’ll welcome back Waldo County’s favorite old-time harmony team Patty Jackson and Rusty Blake for a brand-new picnic basket full of tunes. Ace investigator Karl Stuffel will present an exclusive interview with none other than the Strand Theatre Building itself –98 years young and raring for the future! And down in Abysmal Point, Mrs. Grunden faces the sudden culmination of all her lifelong hopes and dreams when she invents a clam-based snack destined to sweep the nation! Don’t miss this all-new edition of Maine’s Own Radio Variety show – written and directed by Liz McLeod and presented by recording by the Strand Theatre! STRAND ON THE AIR shows are available as podcasts, or for streaming on the Strand Theatre website, following their broadcast.
