Tuesday, April 27, 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. New Mainers Series: The History of Immigration in Maine, Presented by Reza Jalali. The Camden Public Library will be partnering with the New Mainers Coastal Task Force to present a new series of programs that will explore topics related to the immigrant experience in Maine. The first online talk will be with Reza Jalali, executive director of the Greater Portland Immigrant Welcome Center. Jalali's presentation will describe the history of immigration in Maine, with a focus on the changing face of Maine due to the arrival of recent immigrants.
