U.S. National Toboggan Championships

Friday, February 5 – Sunday, February 7, 2021

Event Time: All Day

Camden Snow Bowl
20 Barnestown Road, Camden

The one-of-a-kind historic toboggan chute at the Camden Snow Bowl is 400-feet-long and rises 70-feet in elevation, allowing many toboggans to reach speeds up to 40 miles per hour as they slide out onto frozen Hosmer Pond. If there is clear ice on the pond, some sleds will go the entire way across – about a quarter mile - after exiting the chute. “A cross between an Alice in Wonderland costume ball and a family reunion, the nationals claim to be the only organized wooden toboggan races in the country. “— Franz Lidz, Sports Illustrated. Come eat, drink, and laugh! Anyone can watch or register, just get your team in before it sells out. Vendors sell delicious hot food, craft beer, and souvenirs. There is also live music and a costume parade. This event is a serious photo opportunity! See the website for schedule, parking and team registration (beginning Nov. 1). https://www.camdensnowbowl.com/toboggan-championships
