The Camden Opera House is the Arts & Entertainment hub for midcoast Maine. Built in 1894 and lovingly restored in 1994, the opera house is visually stunning and acoustically superb, and offers the finest in music, dance, theater, film, conferences and more.

The Camden Shakespeare Festival is a professional, non-profit theatre committed to producing Shakespeare’s plays chiefly in the Camden Amphitheatre. We believe that Shakespeare plays speak to everyone, because of their universal themes, their unforgettable characters and their extraordinary poetry. These plays are produced in association with the Camden Public Library.

Down East Singers is a community chorus performing masterworks from the 17th century to the present twice a year. The artistic director is Bowdoin faculty member Anthony Antolini. May concerts include Mozart Mentors Orchestra and other professional musicians. The group rehearses at Nativity Lutheran Church in Rockport on Tuesday evenings.

The Everyman Repertory Theatre is a not-for-profit professional theatre company committed to bringing live theater to the people of midcoast Maine. Performance locations include the Camden and Rockport opera houses and the Farnsworth Art Museum.

MCMA is a contemporary music school in Rockland offering oustanding private and group instruction on a variety of instruments to students of all ages and skill levels as well as community enrichment programming and event musicians for hire.

Opera Maine, formerly known as PORTopera, is dedicated to producing creative, inspiring, and professional opera performances of artistic excellence.
