U.S. Cellular is the fifth-largest full-service wireless carrier in the United States, providing national network coverage and industry-leading innovations designed to elevate the customer experience. U.S. Cellular offers coverage where the other carriers don't and a wide range of communication services that increase the competitiveness of local businesses and improve the efficiency of government operations.
At U.S. Cellular, we champion Maine’s small and medium sized businesses and want to offer them access to tools to help them be successful. We offer a variety of devices and plans designed for business owners, and our business associates can tailor a solution to meet their exact needs. Between smartphones, tablets, modems, vehicle tracking systems, machine-to-machine (M2M), portable 4G LTE routers and Internet of Things (IoT) technology, businesses can be more efficient. We offer flexible plans that can be customized to meet each business’s unique requirements.
U.S. Cellular has been serving Maine businesses since 1988 and was the first wireless carrier to bring a 4G LTE network to Maine in early 2012. The company continues to invest in its network with 99 percent of our customers having access to a 4G LTE network.
U.S. Cellular is committed to the communities it serves. The company has made a $1.3 million national commitment to Boys & Girls Clubs of America and National 4-H Council for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) programming, with $41,500 of that donation going directly to local clubs in Maine in 2017. In addition, Maine U.S. Cellular associates spent 373 hours volunteering their time in 2016 with these organizations and a variety of other non-profits throughout the year. We are enjoying our 8th year supporting the University of Maine Athletics Department and our 13th year as a sponsor of the Portland Sea Dogs.
