Father's Day Weekend 2019 in the Camden-Rockland Region

Father’s Day is June 16th. Here are some interesting events and dining suggestions for the whole weekend, as provided by our members, to help you celebrate with the dads in your life. As always, we encourage you to call ahead. We’ll add more events as we get them. Check back often!

Rockland Summer Solstice Celebration - Join us for our annual Summer Solstice Celebration on Main Street in downtown Rockland, Saturday, June 15, 4 – 7 pm.Followed by our After Hours Dock Party at Journey’s End Marina, with music and dancing, 6 – 10:30 pm.All events are free!Main Street event is family-friendly; Dock Party is adults only. Hops in the Hanger - Owls Head Transportation Museum, 117 Museum Street, Owls Head. Saturday, June 15, 1 – 4 pm.Tickets are $30 (non-member), $20 (member), $14 (designated driver). FMI, visit

Rockland Lobster Boat Races - Sunday, June 16th. Registration for participants begins at 8 am at Journey's End Marina. Races will start around 10 am and run until 2 pm. Best viewing is on the water in your own boat, or from the Rockland Breakwater. FMI, visit

Father’s Day Sail - Schooner Olad, Public Landing, Camden. Four trips available: 10 am, 12:30 pm, 3 pm, and 5:15 pm. Dad will receive half-off the regular rate when accompanied by a family member on any of the two-hour sails on Father’s Day. $45 per person. Book at

Father’s Day Sausage Class at Primo’s Barn, Sunday, June 16, 11 am – 2 pm. Bourbon, Beer and Brats! Join us for Tailgating Primo Style. Learn how to make sausage and enjoy local craft beer. Lawn games to follow. Limit 32 guests. $125 per person. Tickets available at –just tap brunch button.

Father’s Day Art and Food Festival - Savage Oaks Vineyard and Winery, 175 Barrett Hill Road, Union. Sunday, June 16, 11 am - 4 pm.Bring Dad out to the Union countryside for a day of art, food and fun We’ve invited local artisan food vendors to showcase their talent in a mini festival. A farm to table barbeque lunch will be served throughout the day featuring our own gourmet burgers and other locally sourced meats. FMI, visit

Father’s Day Celebration – Sweetgrass Farm Winery and Distillery, 347 Carroll Road, Union. Enjoy cheeses and craft cocktails. Sunday, June 16, 11 am – 5 pm.

Free Admission For Dads and Grandfathers on Father’s Day - On Sunday, June 16, 1 - 4 pm, the Coastal Children’s Museum will be honoring all hard-working fathers by offering FREE admission to Dads and grandfathers in celebration of Father’s Day. There will also be a special Father’s Day craft available for children to create something for their loved ones. Located at Sharp's Point Marina, 75 Mechanic Street, Rockland. Sunday Jam - Sail, Power & Steam Museum, 75 Mechanic Street, Rockland. Bluegrass, folk and sing along on Sunday, June 16, 1 – 4 pm.
