Fourth of July Festivities in the Camden-Rockland Region 2019

Celebrate Independence Day in the Camden-Rockland Region with a host of traditional festivities: a parade, live music, great food, and the time-honored fireworks displays. Pack your favorite blanket - or get out on the water - and come out to enjoy a full day of family fun and entertainment. Spend your July 4th holiday with us!

 

Camden

 

Music by the Sea.The Camden Rotary Club is delighted to present the 2019 Music by the Sea concert series, an Independence Day tradition on the midcoast for more than 25 years. Thanks to donations from generous sponsors, this concert is free to the public and helps fund the Camden Rotary Club's major project: grants to nonprofit organizations in Knox County and Lincolnville. The band lineup for the day is as follows:

12:00 pm: Midcoast Brass Quintet (Village Green)

2:00 pm: Bay Chamber Concerts' Jazz Ensembles (Camden Harbor Park)

3:30 pm: Bath Municipal Band (Amphitheatre)

5:00 pm: Katahdin Valley Boys (Camden Harbor Park)

7:30 pm: The Right Track (Camden Harbor Park)

9:00 pm: Fireworks over Camden Harbor. Spectacular July 4th fireworks display over Camden Harbor.

Lincolnville

Fourth of July Beach Blast.Featuring live band, Midnight Riders, performing from 7:00 to 10:30 pm. Fireworks over Lincolnville Beach at 9:15 pm, followed by a bonfire on the beach from 9:30 to 10:30 pm. All events happening at Lincolnville Beach.

Thomaston 

A Traditional Independence Day Celebration in downtown Thomaston.

7:00 am: Pancake Breakfast (Masonic Temple on Main Street) 

7:00 - 8:00 am: 5K Firecracker Race Same Day Sign Up (Beechwood & Main Streets)

8:00 am: Kids One Mile Fun Race Starts (Beechwood Street)

9:15 am: Pet Show - Bring your Pets (Lura Libby School)

11:00 am: Fourth of July Parade (Main Street - from Erin Street to Booker Street)

12:00 pm: Opening Ceremony (following Parade), booths open, Chicken BBQ Feast, bouncy houses, face painting (all behind the block)

12:30 pm: Band TBD (behind the block)

1:00 pm: Cod Adams Memorial Horseshoe Tournament (Lura Libby School Fields)

5:00 pm: Live Band TBD (behind the block)

9:15 pm: Fireworks Display (behind the block)
