Pen Bay Medical Center to relocate COVID-19 testing site

Posted October 07, 2020

The Acute Respiratory Center (ARC), the COVID-19 testing site at Pen Bay Medical Center (PBMC), is relocating to 731 Commercial St., and will begin testing patients there as of Monday, October 12. Until then, patients who are referred for a COVID-19 test should visit the ARC at its current site, 8 Wellness Ave., on the PBMC campus in Rockport. There are signs directing patients to the site.

The ARC center is not a walk-in facility. A referral from your primary care provider is required for testing. If you have COVID-19 symptoms or were exposed to someone with COVID-19, contact your provider, who will refer you for testing, if indicated. If you do not have a primary care provider, call 301-4911 and leave a message. Pen Bay medical staff will return calls within 24 hours, in the order in which messages have been received.
