Knox County EMA launches COVID-19 community resources “Hub”

Posted May 14, 2020

As Knox County begins to emerge from COVID-19 closures, what’s open, what’s still closed, what we can and can’t do can be a complicated subject and a moving target.

To help navigate, the Knox County Emergency Management Agency has launched a community resource page of interactive maps and associated information links.  "The idea is to use the Hub to provide location specific information for Knox County residents" says Leticia vanVuuren, Knox County EMA’s geographic information systems Manager.

The Hub is designed to be a living repository of useful information, from available Knox County resources (ex. food services, available municipal & county services, public wifi locations) to links to State resources, services, and plans. The Hub can be accessed from the EMA webpage at

If you think of something that you would like to see that isn't included, contact the EMA office at 594-5155 and let us know!We welcome your thoughts and suggestions.
