THE CAPITOL STEPS return to the Strand on March 29

The Washington DC-based comedy troupe the Capitol Steps will bring theirunique blend of musical and political comedy to the Strand Theatre stage on Friday, March 29 at 7:30pm.

The Capitol Steps began over 30 years ago as a group of Senate Staffers who were planning entertainment for a Christmas party. They have become an institution in D.C., providing comedy about our Nation’s Capital and more. Each show consists of tasteful lampooning calculated to leave both sides of the political spectrum laughing.

Since they began, the Capitol Steps have recorded over 35 albums, including their latest, Make America Grin Again. They've been featured on NBC, CBS, ABC, and PBS, and can be heard twice a year on National Public Radio stations nationwide during their Politics Takes a Holiday radio specials.
